Joans photography is award winning and provides a completely amazing experience for her clients. Because of her psychology background, Joan investigates your imagination to bring out the unique style that is truly you...not just the style that is hers - ALWAYS willing to travel!
Joans Story:
Joan was blessed to begin her professional career at the early age of twenty. She rose to management in the highly competitive market of Calgary at the acclaimed Pizzazz Hair Design, where she was a hairstylist, aesthetician and cosmetologist.So she understands the intricate Fashion makeup and beauty industry, and is always up to date on makeup artistry and fashion trends.
She then decided to pursue a career in nursing, working at Alberta Hospital Ponoka for 13 years as a staff nurse and emergency response clinical coordinator and instructor. She worked mainly with Acute Adult Psychiatric Admissions.
After returning to her home town of Medicine Hat, she opened her own practice as a family and marital stress reduction therapist.
Later she met and married her husband Scott who was a journalist submitting regularly to various publications. Slowly Joan began a new career becoming a sought after
photographer, following Scott on many travel, political and entertainment assignments working for The Medicine Hat News, - one of Southern Albertas largest newspapers.
